One of the things I like most about roasting veggies is their natural flavor that comes out.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 10 fresh Brussels sprouts, stems trimmed then cut in half
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  2. Line baking sheet(s) with parchment paper.
  3. In a gallon-size Ziplock bag, toss 10 halved brussels sprouts with 1/4 cup EVOO.
  4. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper and toss again, until evenly coated.
  5. Place the coated brussels sprouts in a single layer on the sheet(s).
  6. Bake for about 10 mins, then turn and bake for about 20 mins more, until browned and slightly charred.
