Garlic Cheese Herbed Cauliflower Crown Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, washed and cored (see bottom right pic above)
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pink Himalayan salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400â—¦ F.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 2 Tbsp Parmesan, 1/3 cup EVOO, 3 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp parsley, 1 tsp thyme, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper.
- Place the cauliflower upside down in a baking dish with lid that is large enough to hold it, then use a brush to transfer 1/2 of the sauce over this bottom side of the cauliflower, spreading it around the core and into crevices. (see middle left pic above)
- Turn the cauliflower over and brush remaining sauce over it. (see middle right pic above)
- Bake, covered, for 40 mins, until tender.
