Garlic Cheese Toast Spread

Last night I made a second attempt at it and nailed this one. 🥇

Very similar flavor to the GCT @ Claim Jumper… 🧄🧀 However, we don’t quite pile it on like CJ as a little bit goes a long way.

We use slices of the Buttermilk Bread hubby bakes. 🍞


Last night it was served alongside my Cajun Shrimp Caesar Salad. 🦐🥗

TIPS: Depending on how much you want on each slice and how big your slices are, this recipe will work for anywhere from 6 – 12 slices of *bread*. I recommend 6 slices.

Garlic Cheese Toast Spread Recipe

  • 3/4 cup freshly shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup butter, 2 Tbsp Parmesan, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp Worcestershire, 1/8 tsp pepper, and 1/8 tsp paprika until well blended. I highly recommend using a rubber spatula as this will serve you well for Steps 2 – 4.
  3. Fold in 3/4 cup shredded cheese until well incorporated.
  4. Apply spread to taste to one side of each *bread* slice.
  5. Bake for 10 mins, until cheese is slightly browned and bubbling.
