Get Unstuck. Move Forward. Create Meaningful Change.

Practical coaching for adults who feel stuck and are ready to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Is Coaching Right for You?

Coaching may be a good fit if you:
✔ Feel stuck in a season of change and aren’t sure what your next step should be.
✔ Want to communicate more effectively in your personal or professional relationships.
✔ Know you’re capable of more but need greater clarity, accountability, and a practical plan to move forward.
✔ Are navigating a career change, leadership role, or other professional transition.
✔ Want practical guidance to move from overthinking to taking action.

How Coaching Is Different From Therapy

Therapy and coaching can both be valuable, but they serve different purposes. The major difference between therapy and coaching is the focus of the work: Therapy focuses on improving mental health, emotional healing, and resolving concerns that interfere with daily functioning. Coaching focuses on helping you clarify your goals, overcome obstacles, develop practical strategies, and take meaningful action toward the future you want to create.

THERAPY:
Healing, insight, relationships, emotional growth.

COACHING:
Clarity, strategy, action, accountability, forward momentum.

If you’re looking for support with a mental health concern or emotional healing, explore my Therapy Services to learn more about how psychotherapy differs from coaching.

Experience

As a Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 16 years of experience helping individuals and couples create meaningful change, I bring that same practical, solution-focused perspective to coaching. Coaching allows me to work with individuals and couples who are ready to move forward, pursue personal or professional growth, strengthen communication, and achieve meaningful goals.

Purpose of Coaching

Coaching can be a great choice to find the support and skills you desire as you decide how to best address whatever issues are currently challenging you.

Everyone experiences periods of feeling stuck. Coaching is designed to help you move from knowing you want something to change to taking meaningful action toward that change. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in your way, develop practical strategies, and build the confidence and accountability needed to keep moving forward.

The Coaching Relationship

The foundation of coaching is the relationship built between us. This relationship allows for a supportive, safe place for you to be able to challenge yourself to change. Clients often speak of their change being related to having someone they can talk to who is not invested in the outcome of any problem other than their best interest.

Depending on what you need, I may challenge your thinking, help you organize your ideas, teach practical skills, offer accountability, celebrate your progress, or simply provide an objective perspective when you’re feeling stuck.

My Approach

You bring your own strengths (no matter how long unused or forgotten) to our work together. We’ll work together to identify these strengths, add new ones, and minimize (or eliminate) the patterns that keep you stuck. You already possess many of the strengths you need to succeed—sometimes they’re simply difficult to see when you’re in the middle of a challenge. My role is to help you recognize those strengths, build new skills, and create practical strategies that move you toward your goals.

What Coaching With Me Looks Like

Coaching with me is practical, collaborative, and action-oriented. Together, we’ll clarify your goals, identify obstacles, develop realistic strategies, and create a plan that helps you make steady progress. Along the way, I’ll ask thoughtful questions, challenge unhelpful patterns, celebrate your successes, and help you stay accountable to the changes you want to make.

Why I Love Coaching

I love helping people recognize strengths they didn’t realize they had, develop new skills, and achieve goals that once felt out of reach. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone move from feeling stuck and uncertain to believing in their ability to create meaningful change. It is a privilege to partner with clients as they plant the seeds for the future they want to build.

Coaching Options

All coaching sessions are conducted online, making it easy to work together no matter where you live.

Individual Coaching Sessions
One-on-one coaching for adults (18+) seeking greater clarity, confidence, personal growth, or professional development.

Couple Coaching Sessions
Coaching for couples who want to strengthen communication, navigate challenges together, and build a healthier, more connected relationship.

Conjoint Coaching Sessions
Coaching for two adults who are not romantic partners but want to improve communication, resolve conflict, or work toward a shared goal (for example, adult family members, friends, or colleagues).

Frequency of Coaching

We will typically meet weekly for about the first 4-6 weeks, and then as often as we mutually agree will be beneficial to help you meet your coaching goals.

Duration of Coaching

Ideally, coaching ends when you’ve met your coaching goals that we set in the beginning. However, you may choose to end coaching at any time and for any reason.

Having attended any length of coaching, I welcome you to return for sessions as you need or desire. Sometimes we need a session as a:
• booster
• “Help me get me unstuck because I’m feeling overwhelmed.”

Because finding a coach who is a great fit for you is the most important part of coaching, you will first attend a Coaching Discovery Call before starting online coaching at Danae Powers MS LMFT.

Step 1: Schedule a Coaching Discovery Call

A Coaching Discovery Call is a brief, no-cost, no-pressure conversation designed to help us determine whether we’re a good fit to work together. During this call, you’ll have the opportunity to share what brings you to coaching, ask questions about my approach, and learn what it might be like to work together.

We’ll discuss the concerns you’d like to address, your goals for coaching, whether my services are likely to meet your needs, and any practical questions you have about scheduling, fees, or the coaching process. I’ll also answer questions about my approach so you can make an informed decision about whether you’d like to move forward.

Because this is a consultation—not a coaching session—we won’t begin to work through your coaching concerns during the call. Instead, the focus is on helping both of us determine whether we’re a good fit before scheduling an intake appointment.

If you are in need of a different day/time for scheduling a Discovery Call than what you see as available, please consider joining the Coaching Discovery Call Wait List to request a different appointment day/time.

After scheduling, you’ll receive an email confirmation with the link to your Discovery Call appointment. Just click on the link in the email confirmation to attend your appointment at the scheduled time.

Step 2: Schedule a Coaching Intake

If you are in need of a different day/time for scheduling an Intake than what you see as available, please consider joining the Coaching Intake Wait List to request a different appointment day/time.

After scheduling, you’ll receive an email confirmation with the link to your Intake appointment.

Within 1 business day of scheduling your Intake, you’ll receive an email invitation to our confidential Client Portal where you’ll complete and submit your intake documents. You’ll need to submit your intake documents at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled Intake so that your coach is able to review them prior to your appointment.

Just click on the link in the email confirmation to attend your Intake appointment at the scheduled time. At your Intake appointment, you and your coach will start to plan for what coaching will look like, how often you’ll meet, and how you’ll know you’re ready to end coaching.

Step 3: Schedule Ongoing Coaching Sessions

If you are in need of a different day/time for scheduling a session than what you see as available, please consider joining the Coaching Session Wait List to request a different appointment day/time.

We highly recommend booking your upcoming coaching sessions for the next 4 weeks at one time so that you can ensure grabbing the days/times you want as the schedule fills quickly.

After scheduling, you’ll receive an email confirmation with the link to your upcoming coaching sessions.

Just click on the link for each session in the email confirmation to attend at the scheduled time.

Ready to take the next step?

If you’re considering coaching, I’d be happy to answer your questions and help you determine whether it’s the right fit for your goals. Every coaching relationship begins with a no-cost Coaching Discovery Call designed to help both of us decide whether we’d work well together.
